Brown and rainbow trout are most common in the Upper Delaware. You can book a comfy night with us, enjoy a full cooked breakfast, and then spend the day on the River with a local guide service. Or come stay right on the river at our Monument Pool Lodge (highlight so they can click on and go to web page) where you can walk right down to the river and wade or rent one of our Kayaks, Canoes or Pontoon boats for the day.

Lake Fishing – Belmont Lake
Just 15 minutes from the Lodge, Belmont Lake is a 172-acre impoundment owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and managed by the Fish and Boat Commission for public fishing and boating.

See links from our canoeing/kayak activity page to reserve/rent a canoe, or you’re welcome to bring your own. This lake allows electric motors only. Fish species include muskellunge, largemouth bass, pickerel, perch and panfish.
